MEET DEANDRA
NCLMBT#09987, CPMTII, CIMT, CES
Licensed since 2009, Deandra Marinova has gone on to pursue advanced certifications in pediatrics, fertility, prenatal, postpartum and abdominal massage.
Most notable are her certifications from The Liddle Kidz Foundation (personally trained under the Founder and Director, Tina Allen), The Abdominal Therapy Collective, and Claire Marie Miller. All are internationally recognized and respected.
The best part of being a family massage therapist is having the opportunity to work with children and parents. Deandra is able to work with families and children from conception to adulthood. The families she works with are from all different backgrounds; biological families, adoptive families, medically fragile children, as well as typically developing. No matter what the circumstance, Deandra is able to help impact the family unit in a positive way by teaching positive body image, providing healthy, nurturing touch and helping children and the ones who love them blossom and grow in their bond. She believes very strongly that all, no matter age or condition, benefit greatly from massage.
Deandra also has a background in labor support as a trained doula. All of this has helped Deandra to live out her dreams of being able to work closely with moms and children from conception onward. Her unique approach to integrating massage during pregnancy and labor provides a great comfort to moms. Deandra has also worked with area hospital birthing classes, teaching massage techniques, birthing positions and meditation to moms-to-be and their birthing partners.
Some of Deandra’s hobbies include spending time with her husband and little boy, as well as getting outside for hikes and working in her garden.
Please feel free to contact Deandra with any questions or appointment requests.
